New York....nicknamed “Knight Train”...one of the team's most
liked players because of his positive attitude, sense of humor,
and team spirit....was named “hardest worker” at the banquet
last spring...also known for his aggressive, physical play and
hard work....after several near misses, he scored his lone goal
last season during the Mids' 12-1 rout of Rutgers at Dahlgren
Hall last February...Parents: Emil and Jayne...Sisters: Nancy
and Noreen...Bill graduated from Clarkstown South High School
“Vikings”, where he played forward....also played with the Bear
Mountain Bears Hockey Club....Why did you decide to go to USNA:
“To become a Naval officer, to serve and protect my family,
friends, community, and country”...How has that decision
affected you: “Being a Midshipman has made me become more
involved and attentive to world affairs and political issues,
because they will soon greatly affect my career and everyday
life; being at the Academy makes me even prouder to be an
American and I am honored to serve it in this way”...Person you
