1970 Pontiac
GTO
Unfortunately, my car is not a judge, but the stripes are
original. They were put on the car at the dealership, along
with the hood tach and judge wing. It has a TH400 3 speed
automatic transmisson and an original 800cfm Rochester Q-jet
carb on top of a 400cid V8, completely rebuilt last summer.
I have had to do a lot of the engine work, but the interior
and paint were nice because it had been restored in the
mid 90's. One of my future adventures is to install the
Vacuum operated exhaust, which was an option only available
until 1970 and shifts all the baffles in the muffler on
the push of a button to make it really loud. |
