What is the U.S. Naval Academy Leadership Conference?
The U. S. Naval Academy Leadership Conference brings together the best minds in the practice and
study of leadership to exchange ideas, experiences and methods with military and civilian students.
It is an expanded form of the Leader's Forum conducted in previous years to incorporate the invaluable
knowledge-base and experience of highly accredited civilian leadership development programs and the
students who represent them. Interaction with the nation's top leaders enables over 240 undergraduates
the opportunity to gain insight and advice regarding current leadership issues. Student's interaction
with each other affords the unique opportunity to build teamwork and lasting relationships from a
variety of initial perspectives.
The purpose of the Leadership Conference then is two-fold:
Exchange ideas, experiences and methods that will benefit the senior student leadership from each
institution in current and future positions of responsibility.
Develop and enhance teamwork across the top academic institutions in leadership.
