Professor of Psychology: United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD. December 1998 to present. 

Teach a range of undergraduate psychology courses to Naval Academy Midshipmen in the Department of Leadership, Ethics and Law. Developed curriculum and custom text for a core course in Leadership and Human Behavior. Serve on the Faculty Senate Assessment Committee and the Naval Academy Research Council. Supervise military faculty members in the psychology section and provide training to leadership instructors in the department's leadership section. Assistant to Associate Professor with tenure, 2003, Full Professor, 2009.

Faculty Associate: Johns Hopkins University, Graduate School of Business and Education, Baltimore, MD. Summer 2001 to present: 

Teach clinical and counseling psychology courses to Graduate students in community-clinical and counseling psychology Master’s programs. Courses include Diagnosis, Group Therapy, and Brief Therapy 

Visiting Associate Professor of Psychology: United States Naval Post-Graduate School, Monterey, CA. 1999 to 2006. 

Teach a course on Theories of Counseling and Supervise Master’s thesis projects in the Post-Graduate school’s Master’s program in Leadership and Human Resources Management.

Tenure track faculty appointment in an APA-approved clinical psychology doctoral program. Taught courses in Personality Assessment, Outcome Evaluation, Legal/Ethical Issues, and Psychotherapy with Men. Taught an undergraduate course in Abnormal Psychology. Supervised graduate students in practicum and pre‑internship phases of clinical training. Chaired doctoral dissertation committees. Appointed Director of Research for Doctoral Program. Participated in preparation for and achievement of APA accreditation of doctoral program. Chaired the Curriculum Revision Committee.

Appointed Convention Program Chairperson for a two-year term. Organized and oversaw the submission and review process for divisional programming at the annual national convention.

Oregon Board of Bar Examiners: Portland, Oregon. February 1997 to December 1998.

Appointed by Oregon Supreme Court as public member of the Board of Bar Examiners. Administer Bar Exam and participated in evaluation of applicants to the state Bar. Conducted hearings to determine character and fitness of questionable Bar applicants.
