Trident Article: "Navy Wins Sixth Annual Inter-Academy Law of Armed Conflict Competition"
With Sailors and Marines on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan, the law of armed conflict is a timely subject at the U.S. Naval Academy. All Midshipmen are required to take a course in Naval Law that introduces them to the fundamentals of international agreements such as the 1907 Hague Convention and the 1949 Geneva Conventions, and three Midshipmen recently had the opportunity to demonstrate their mastery of these concepts.
