USNA Calendar of Events January - May 2013

Note for Correspondents and Editors: Activities listed below are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. All events are subject to change and this calendar will be updated on a monthly basis. GENERAL INFORMATION

Regular Gate hours: Vehicles without Department of Defense decals are not permitted to drive onto the academy grounds. Visitors are encouraged to park at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (price to park is $5) and ride the courtesy shuttle bus to the academy or to walk on through Gate 1 on King George Street. Gate 1 is open from sunrise to sunset, Sunday-Friday and 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday for pedestrian traffic. Gate 3 is currently closed for construction. Gate 4 is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for pedestrian traffic only. All visitors are required to show a valid photo identification to enter the grounds. Cars with handicapped tags or dashboard cards must be issued a pass from Pass and ID at Gate 1 during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. . 3:30 p.m. (Closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays). • Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, December 26 and New Year's Day, January 2.

• September - November: Mon. - Fri., 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Sat., 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.;

• December-March: Mon. - Sat., 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.; Sun., 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

• $8 - students (1st-12th grade)
