Note for Correspondents and Editors: Activities listed below are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. All events are subject to change and this calendar will be updated on a monthly basis. GENERAL INFORMATION
Regular Gate hours: Vehicles without Department of Defense decals are not permitted to drive onto the academy grounds. Visitors are encouraged to park at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (price to park is $5) and ride the courtesy shuttle bus to the academy or to walk on through Gate 1 on King George Street. Gate 1 is open from sunrise to sunset, Sunday-Friday and 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday for pedestrian traffic. Gate 3 is currently closed for construction. Gate 4 is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for pedestrian traffic only. All visitors are required to show a valid photo identification to enter the grounds. Cars with handicapped tags or dashboard cards must be issued a pass from Pass and ID at Gate 1 during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. . 3:30 p.m. (Closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays). | NOTE: | Visitors to the Naval Academy performances are reminded that vehicles without Department of Defense decals are not permitted on Naval Academy grounds. There will be a complimentary shuttle bus operating from the Navy/Marine Corps Stadium (price to park is $5) for each performance on the yard. Visitors can also park in town and enter through Gate 3 on Maryland Avenue if construction is completed. Otherwise, they may use Gate 1 or 4. All visitors will be required to show a valid government-issued picture ID. No bags or backpacks will be allowed on the grounds. Cars with handicapped tags or dashboard cards must be issued a pass from Pass and ID at Gate 1 during normal business hours. After hours a pass may be issued by the Shift LT, at Gate 8.
