NAVAL ACADEMY ANNOUNCES ANNUAL HALLOWEEN/ALL SAINTS' DAY CONCERT

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The U.S. Naval Academy will present its annual Halloween/All Saints' Day Concert Friday, Oct. 28, and Saturday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. in the academy’s Main Chapel. This event is open to the public. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, Sept. 29 and sell out quickly.

Tickets are all general admission and cost $25 for adults and $7 for children under age 10. They can be purchased over the phone at (410) 293-8497 or online at www.usna.edu/Music/Accessable/tickets2.html. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for both shows.

The academy's annual Halloween/All Saints' Day Concert is a spectacular event of music, light, drama, and dance and is one of the most popular events on the yard. This electrifying concert features Monte Maxwell, chapel organist, with the multi-faceted talents of midshipmen in a presentation that has become popular with the public.

Visitors to the Naval Academy may walk through Gate 1 (King George St.) and Gate 3 (Maryland Ave.) and will be required to show valid, government issued picture ID. Gate 3 will be open to pedestrians until 10 p.m. Vehicles without Department of Defense decals are not permitted on the Naval Academy grounds. However, visitors will be able to park at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and take the USNA courtesy shuttle to the chapel. Handicapped visitors with proper decals are permitted through Gate 1 after a vehicle inspection. All bags are subject to search.
