NAVAL ACADEMY HOSTS HAUNTED HOUSE AT GREENBURY POINT AND NAVAL HEALTH CLINIC

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Naval Academy staff will welcome the public to two haunted events in celebration of Halloween. The 107th Annual Haunted Hospital at Hospital point will be open Friday, Oct. 26 and Thursday, Oct. 27, and the Haunted House at Greenbury Point will be open Thursday, Oct. 25 and Friday, Oct. 26. Tickets will be sold at the door for each event.

The Naval Support Activity Annapolis haunted house will be located in the Bay Room at Greenbury Point, Oct. 25-26 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission for the event is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Face painting, candy, and Halloween movies will be available for younger children, and refreshments such as hotdogs, brats, popcorn, cider, hot chocolate, coffee, and other treats will also be available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased at the door. See below for directions.

The Naval Health Clinic Annapolis will host their 107th Annual Haunted Hospital Oct. 26-27 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. This building is known for the urban myth that is actually haunted, and was recently featured on the SyFy Channel show “Ghost Hunters.” The event will include 16 rooms of haunting; transferring visitors from the modern day and into the early 1900’s. Parental discretion is advised. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Entry is $10 for adults, $5 for Midshipmen and children ages 6-17, and free for children under the age of 5. Directions to Bay Room located near (64 Greenbury Point Road, Annapolid, Md.): Stay on Greenbury Point Road after passing Kinkaid Road. Follow Greenbury Point Road for approximately 1.5 miles past Kinkaid Road. You will pass the Naval Academy Golf Course and Brigade Sports Complex. The Bay Room is on the left-hand side.

Directions to Naval Health Clinic Annapolis, located at 250 Wood Road, Annapolis, Md.: Parking is available in front of the clinic for Vehicles with Department of Defense decals. Vehicles without Department of Defense decals are not permitted on the Naval Academy grounds. Visitors will be able to park at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and take the USNA shuttle to Academy and then walk to Hospital Point. Cars with handicapped license plates or dashboard cards must be issued a pass from Pass and ID at Gate 1 during normal business hours. After hours, a pass may be issued by the shift lieutenant at Gate 8. Visitors may also walk-on through Gate 8 (Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.) for the event. All visitors are required to show a valid photo identification to enter the grounds. All bags are subject to search.
