WAR OF 1812 WALKING TOUR
A self-guided War of 1812 walking tour will be available at the Naval Academy through October 2014. The walking tour will include five stops at the Naval Academy featuring exhibits and artifacts that are significant to the War of 1812.

NOTE: Visitors to the Naval Academy events are reminded that vehicles without Department of Defense or USNA ID are not permitted on Naval Academy grounds. A free shuttle runs during most major events on the yard, where parking is restricted. The pick-up point is near the Blue Angels plane on the Blue (West) side of the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium. Enter the parking lot through Gate 5, off Taylor Avenue. Cost to park at the stadium is $5/day (RV parking: $10); this may be increased during community events. Shuttles usually run 30 minutes before and after any event, at 20-30 minute intervals. For current Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA), Concert and Music department event shuttle information please check the announcements section on the transportation homepage at http://www.usna.edu/Transportation/ or call 410-293-5751. All shuttle information will be posted a week in advance of any event.
Visitors can also park in town and enter through the pedestrian entrances at Gate 1 at the foot of King George Street and Gate 3 on Maryland Avenue. All visitors will be required to show a valid government-issued picture ID. No bags or backpacks will be allowed on the grounds. Cars with handicapped tags or dashboard cards must be issued a pass from Pass and ID at Gate 1 during normal business hours. After hours a pass may be issued by the Shift LT, at Gate 8.
