Naval Academy Modifies Gate 3 Hours

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Naval Academy’s Gate 3 (Maryland Avenue and Hanover Street) will have new hours beginning July 8. The gate will be open for pedestrians only from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., the gate will be closed to vehicle traffic.

This change is due to the impact of sequestration mandated furloughs on our civilian DoD police force. It is expected that the gate will return to normal hours Sept. 29.
