Parents with Midshipman Parent Passes (MPPs) will only be permitted on the Yard to drop off/pick up passengers on Thursday and Friday.  Parents with MPPs will be permitted to park their vehicles on the Yard on Saturday and Sunday on a first-come, first-served basis.  For further information on MPPs, please email  Handicapped visitors may bring vehicles onto USNA with handicapped plates or placards.  Passes are required and are available during normal operational hours (M-F, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) at the Gate 1 Visitors Access Center or issued during non-operational hours at the gate.  Vehicles entering the Yard are subject to search.  Off-site parking will be provided at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (NMCMS), 511 Taylor Ave, Annapolis, for a daily parking fee (normally $5/car and $10/RV).  The fee will increase to $10 after 2 p.m. on Saturday due to a special event at the stadium.  Please enter through Gate #5 on Taylor Avenue.  No overnight parking is permitted.  


All persons 16 and older should be prepared to present a picture ID card for entry into the Naval Academy and will be subject to search.  Access to the Naval Academy grounds is contingent upon the current threat condition.  All changes will be promulgated through Midshipmen Company Officers and on the Naval Academy website at


Dogs or other pets are not permitted on the Academy grounds during Plebe Parents’ Weekend.  Exceptions will be made for certified service dogs.


Picnicking is not authorized on Naval Academy grounds.
