Michael Kellermann is an Assistant Professor in the Political Science Department at the United States Naval Academy, focusing on political methodology. He received his Ph.D training in political science at Harvard University along with an M.A. in statistics. While at Harvard, he was a graduate associate of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. Prior to Harvard, he received a B.A. in political science and economics from the University of Michigan. He was also a Fulbright Scholar at the London School of Economics, receiving an M.Sc. in comparative politics. His research interests are in comparative politics and political methodology, with a focus on political parties and federalism in advanced industrial democracies. His dissertation examined electoral links between the federal and subnational branches of political parties. His research has appeared in the Quarterly Journal of Political Science.
