HOW TO REPORT A
PROBLEM AND GET HELP
- If you are not
the Building 1st LT and the
problem within the building is an emergency (defined as: loss or damage
to government property; life threatening safety; or loss of mission),
immediately call the Public Works Trouble Desk at ext. 3-4594. You
will be provided with a work order/trouble call number should you need
to call for status in the future. That number will also be reported
back to the building 1st LT for their records.
- If the problem is not an emergency, contact
your building 1st LT. (Call extension 3-1286 if you don't know the name/number of
the building 1st LT). The 1st LT will then make the
trouble call to correct the problem. They will be given a work order/trouble call number to call for status
of the repairs in the future, if necessary.
- If a problem requires
repairs that will exceed $2000 (time and material) or
24 man-hours, the 1st LT will submit
a work request to Public Works to accomplish the work. The building
1st Tt assigns a Public Works number (PW#) to the work request for future
tracking purposes.
