ENGINEERING AND ACQUISITION DIVISION
Funding and staffing constraints prevent the Public Works Department from providing all the services required by customers with in-house forces. The Public Works
Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) exists to augment this
in-house work force by providing a full range of services and products. FEAD develops, administers and inspects contracts with the private sector to meet your needs. Services and products include:
- Custodial services for offices and other government owned/operated facilities;
- Grounds maintenance services;
- Refuse collection services (including recycling)
- Open-end type Contracts such as: road repairs; pavement striping; interior and exterior painting; and tree work.
- Preventive maintenance of all types of equipment and systems that are part of your facility, to include:
- Fire alarms and fire protection systems;
- Intrusion alarm & detection systems;
- Elevator maintenance and repair;
- Change of occupancy maintenance, emergency service call response, and other family housing maintenance and repair;
- Emergency and routine maintenance and repairs (service calls) on contracted equipment;
- Pne-time and specialized services (i.e. special cleaning, after a ceremony, etc.), and- other similar services and products relating to the support of facilities by Public Works.
- Short - term vehicle rentals.

speak to an inspector.
