TRANSPORTATION BRANCH
The Head of the Transportation
Branch is Mr. Bill Thrift. He may be reached at
293-1033 or at email thrift@usna.edu. To speak
to someone about reserving buses or vans, or shuttle
buses, please all Mr. Ray Skinner at 293-5751 or
rskinner@usna.edu. The Transportation Branch:
- Manages all government
transportation assets, short term vehicle
rentals and long term vehicle leases.
- Manages base bus service,
street sweeping, construction equipment
operations, crane operations, etc.
- Maintains a full range of
vehicles and equipment.
- Determines requirements
and develops equipment acquisition plans.
- Manages specialized
vehicles and equipment assets utilized by the
Naval Academy.
