Founded in 1963, the club is a member of Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union. USNA has consistently been among the top rugby clubs in the nation since the inception of the collegiate championship in 1980. Most recently, USNA Rugby has qualified for the National Championship ten of the last twelve years.

Since its' inception Navy Rugby has fostered the warrior spirit and ethos amongst the Midshipmen. Our players are full time students at the United States Naval Academy. The Midshipmen have established the club as one of the most dominant teams on the Yard.
