NEW: PRESIDENT

Gyssell Mazo was born in Cali, Colombia and raised in the United States. She is a proud member of 16^th Company. Gyssell is majoring in Applied Mathematics and minoring in Spanish. Along with SHPE, Gyssell is an active member of LASC and the Math Club. She currently serves as the Latin American Studies Club Folkloric Choreographer and she loves to teach other midshipman how to dance music from all over the world. Gyssell also is an active member in the Brigade; as she has held various leadership positions such as Squad Leader, Battalion Operations Sergeant, and Hotel Company XO.  She also enjoys working in community service activities such as the Hispanic Outreach Program, STEM visits, and MAG events. Gyssell intends on graduating out of the Naval Academy as a Marine Corps Officer in May 2010.
