NEW TREASURER: VERONICA RAMOS

Veronica Ramos was born in Miami, FL on October 29, 1987 yet she moved to El Salvador shortly after that where she lived until 1998 when her dad Colonel Angel Ramos, who served in the Salvadoran military, was transferred to work as the Military Attaché of the Salvadoran Embassy in Washington.  Apart from her Salvadoran roots, Veronica is close to the Cuban ethnicity she inherited from her mom.  Veronica is proud of her parents and believes they have been the biggest influence behind every decision she has made, including her time at the Naval Academy.  Veronica is a member of the Women’s Glee Club along with their specialty group called Sirens.  She is a member of the Women’s Field Hockey team and the Latin American Studies Club.  She is a member of 9^th Company and she studies Political Science.  While at the Naval Academy, Veronica has had the opportunity to hold several leadership positions such as squad leader and Plebe Summer XO for Echo Company.  Veronica is hoping to go nuclear surface or regular surface warfare yet is still weighing her options for service selection.
