REQUIREMENTS
All of the external components selected for use in the ANDE communications and power systems must fit inside the predetermined 19 inch sphere with zero impact on external surfaces.
2. Transmit Telemetry Data
The ANDE communications package will transmit 16 points of telemetry data. This telemetry data will include battery voltages, sphere temperatures, and solar cell voltages.
3. Command and Control
The ground station must be able to manage the power system, control the lasers, and set telemetry rates.
4. Communications Transponder in the Amatuer Satellite Service
The communications package will have the capability of receiving data packets from users on the ground. ANDE will then relay the packets to a central server for public viewing.
5. Power System
ANDE must include a power system to support the communications devices and Lasers for at least one year.
