Current Status

All of the required SpaceQuest components (receiver, transmitter, down converter, and modem) have been ordered and are being constructed. The components were ordered in late January, and with a delivery time of 120 days, these components should arrive in early to mid-June. Testing of the components should begin shortly after arrival in June or in the Fall. The list of tests to be conducted can be found in the CDR outline. Once all tests have been completed and the components have proven satisfactory, integration of the communications system may begin.
