Delivery Procedures

Delivery/Commercial
Vehicle inspections will take place on the "west" side of the Perry
Center complex. Commercial vehicles will be required to enter Perry
Center via the gate on State Highway 450/435 (before King George
Street if coming from West Annapolis). A sign is posted outside the
gate. A detailed map is below. Please contact
your vendors and inform them of this change.
As a reminder, the current delivery policy is as follows:
- All requests
are due not later than 1430 (2:30 P.M.) the day prior to
deliver/vender visit. Saturday, Sunday and Monday deliveries must
be scheduled on Friday by 1430. If a holiday falls on a Monday,
Tuesday deliveries/visits must also be submitted on Friday.
Requests for delivery may be made by fax (410-293-3384) or e-mail
eocsuppl@usna.edu. Assistance is
available by phone (410-293-9290) between 0700 and 1430, Monday
through Friday.
- Requests received
later than 1430 will not be processed for the following day. The
department will have to arrange to meet the vendor/driver at the
Perry Center. EOCSupply will attempt to notify the Department POC
by phone/e-mail if a request is not processed.
- All
deliveries/vendor visits are normally scheduled between 0900 and
1500, and require inspection at the Perry Center. Any requests for
entry times earlier/later must be specific as entry is controlled
at Gate 8.
The following
information is required for scheduling requests:
Commercial
deliveries:
- Vehicle
identification:
- Company
name as reflected on truck (i.e. ABF Freight, Office Depot)
- Rental
truck - identify by rental company
- Truck
with no company markings, describe by make, model and color
- Department
receiving shipment, include building name/number.
- General
description of material being delivered (soda, office supplies,
lumber).
- Department POC -
name and phone number.
- Time of Delivery.
For Private
vehicle deliveries/visits:
- Driver's name and
license number. All passengers should be listed also.
- Vehicle make,
model, color and tag number.
- Purpose of visit
(delivery, installation of equipment, sales rep, etc.).
- General
description of material for deliveries.

Department/building name or number, POC and phone number.
- Time of Delivery.
Requests for access
must come from a USNA/NAVSTA department or organization via email or
fax. Requests from commercial companies will not be permitted.
Assistance is
available by phone (410-293-9290) between 0700 and 1430, Monday
through Friday.
