Initiative Description:

• Execute feasibility study to review current or new facilities for a hockey venue
  • Current facility candidates should be:
    • Renovated Halsey Field House
    • Renovated Dahlgren Hall
• Study should also include construction of new facilities on North Severn

Expected Outcome/Benefit:

• Team competition provides players a source of physical conditioning, leadership development, and personal growth for most of the academic year
• Rink could be an additional recreation, revenue-generating venue on a fee-per-use basis (like Dahlgren)
