Initiative Description:

• Assess the current facilities and resources assigned to these facilities
• Review any "best practices" models (USMC, USA, USMA) for:
  • Safety programs and resources
  • Training programs and resources
  • Facilities size and structure
  • Resource funding/sources
• Develop plans to improve the quality and availability of small arms/live fire facilities
• Indoor Simulator Marksmanship Trainer
• Provide exterior lighting for night training at North Severn range

Expected Outcome/Benefit:

• Improved quality, safety and availability of these facilities
• Improved small arms skills of the midshipmen
