Determine the optimal organizational approach for Physical Education Faculty and
Varsity Athletic Coaching Positions
Initiative Description:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current and alternative
organizational approaches. The analysis should include all factors
to support mission accomplishment, individual professional development
and resource availability.
- Determine and make recommendations regarding the optimal
organizational approach for USNA.
- Coordinate the analysis with objectives of related initiatives in the
USNA Strategic Plan; including Lifelong Fitness, Health and Wellness,
Intramural Program Enhancements, Military and Civilian Faculty
Excellence, etc.
Expected Outcome/Benefit:
- Documented strengths and weaknesses of various organizational approaches
- Integrated plan that optimizes the organization and resources to support mission
- A more efficient and effective organization
