Instruction in this subject
provides the officer student, regardless of the MOS subsequently
assigned, with the basic knowledge necessary for a company grade officer
to conduct small unit offensive and defensive operations.
Performance-oriented training enables the officer student to apply the
knowledge acquired in the classroom to simulated combat situations.
Included is instruction and application in the planning and conduct of
combat patrols, helicopter borne operations, tank-infantry tactics,
mechanized operations, military operations in urban terrain, and an
introduction to rifle company operations. |
