Handel's "Messiah," circa 1947.

A performance of Handel's Messiah in the Naval Academy Chapel, circa 1947. The seed of origin for this annual production was planted during a meeting
between Professor Gilly, the choir director/Chapel organist, and Alexander C. Morris.
They knew the choir director at Hood College, and so history was made.
