Chief Petty Officer Kenneth S. Pfabe, USN
Trumpeter, Naval Academy Band

Chief Musician Kenneth Pfabe is a native of Londonderry, NH and joined the United States Naval Academy Band in 1993. He graduated from Londonderry High School in 1984, then earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of New Hampshire, where he studied with Naval Academy Band alumnus, Dr. Robert Stibler.

In addition to his duties as trumpet Instrumentalist with the Concert Band, jazz ensemble, duty combos, brass ensemble, ceremonial and marching bands, he is the Naval Academy Band’s Audition Supervisor.

His awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation (2 awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (3 awards), National Defense Service Medal (2 awards), Navy Pistol Shot (Sharpshooter) and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
