MUSIC FOR A CATHEDRAL

The United States Naval Academy Band and the United States Navy Band's Sea Chanters present "Music for a Cathedral" under the dome of the glorious Naval Academy Chapel at 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 21st. A repeat performance will take place at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 22nd at The Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore, Maryland.

Under the direction of Lieutenant Commander Melvin P. Kessler, the men and women of the "Navy's Oldest and Finest Band" will perform music fit for a cathedral, including Johann Sebastian Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Howard Hanson's Chorale and Alleluia, and several selections featuring the Sea Chanters.

All Naval Academy Band concerts are free of charge and open to the public with no tickets required. For concert information call (410) 293-0263 or select "Mailing List" in the column to the left.
