U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY BAND PRESENTS

OVERTURES and FINALES

The United States Naval Academy Band proudly presents “Overtures & Finales” on Friday, February 1st at 7:30 p.m. at the Naval Academy’s Mitscher Hall.

This performance opens with the flashy, high energy Overture to Le Corsair by Hector Berlioz, includes An Italian in Algiers by Giocommo Rossini, and features saxophonist Master Chief Musician James Rodak performing Romance by African American composer, William Grant Still.  The program closes with Berceuse and Finale from The Firebird, one of the most popular compositions ever written.

Naval Academy Band concerts are free and open to the public with no tickets required.  For more information, please call (410) 293-0263.
