POTPOURRI

Image of Annapolis

The Naval Academy Band will present a concert on Friday, April 18th at 7:30 p.m. in Mahan Hall.  The program, entitled “Potpourri,” will include transcriptions of orchestral works by Johannes Brahms, Camille Saint-Saens, and Gustav Holst.

The featured soloist will be the band’s new vocalist, Petty Officer Jessica Hatfield.  She will sing “O, Mio Babbino Caro,” by Giacomo Puccini, and Irving Berlin’s “Let’s Face the Music and Dance,” and “Take Me With You Soldier Boy.”  Be sure to join us as we welcome Petty Officer Hatfield to the “Navy’s Oldest and Finest Band.”

Naval Academy Band concerts are free and open to the public with no tickets required.  Mahan Hall is located on the grounds of the Naval Academy.  For more information, please call (410) 293-0263.
