U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY BAND PRESENTS
The Naval Academy Band will present a concert on Friday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Mahan Hall. The program will include such transcriptions from the orchestral repertoire as “Festive Overture” by Dmitri Shostakovich, the Richard Strauss tone poem, “Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks,” and “Finale from Symphony #8” by Antonin Dvorak. Petty Officer Jessica Hatfield will perform an operatic aria as well as jazz standards. Naval Academy Band concerts are free and open to the public with no tickets required.
