U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY BAND PRESENTS vNAVAL ACADEMY BAND
The United States Naval Academy Concert Band will present a special concert at Alumni Hall on Friday, October 9th in honor of the United States Navy’s 234th birthday. The performance will begin at 7:30 PM, and will feature Claude T. Smith’s arrangement of the Navy Hymn, “Eternal Father, Strong to Save” as well as an adaptation from the orchestral repertoire of Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s masterpiece, “Scheherazade.” Musician First Class Clint Woltering will be the featured soloist on trombone. Naval Academy Band concerts are free and open to the public with no tickets required. Alumni Hall is located on the grounds of the Naval Academy. For more information, please call (410) 293-0263.
