Members of the United States Naval Academy Band will join the Midshipmen String Quartet and renowned Chinese soprano, Shuwei Qiu, to present a special concert at the Naval Academy Chapel on Friday, October 16th in support of the USNA’s Center for Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies (CMEIS). The performance will begin at 7:30 PM, and is part of a conference entitled “Transcending Borders: Asia, Middle East and the Global Community” hosted by CMEIS and the Naval Academy.
