Any institution that is around for 156 years must experience change from time to time and the Navy’s oldest and finest band is no exception. A newfound fiscal responsibility has swept the country as the economy recovers, and technological advances and expanding social networking opportunities have opened doors that cannot be ignored. As servants to the people of this great nation, we are obligated to respect the resources entrusted to us. To that end, we have stopped printing of “The Serenade” newsletter. Our mission to support the Naval Academy and its Midshipmen, the Navy, and the American people demands vigilance in our own fiscal responsibility, and maintaining a relationship with the public remains a vital part of our mission.

We are thrilled to announce that the Naval Academy Band is now on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr. We're also currently working on a new website, which will contain a new version of our "Serenade" Newsletter, in the form of a blog! We're excited about these new changes and hope that you will join us on our new social media sites.

NOTE: Adobe Acrobat Reader is REQUIRED

For your enjoyment we have left access to past Serenade Newsletters.
