 The Latin American Studies Club (LASC) is an extra-curricular activity (ECA) at the United States Naval Academy that provides the opportunity for midshipmen to cultivate an appreciation and learn more about the growing Hispanic/Latino community across the United States and the U.S. Fleet.

**"Familia" Mentoring in Levy 230 at 1900. We usually discuss interesting topics about faith, service, family, and notable Hispanics that overcame the odds to make it big. Next weeks topic will discuss MS-13 and the influence of gangs on young latinos. -- Every other Wednesday**

**LASC/SHPE Banquet in Chesapeake Room from 1800-2400. Uniform is Mess Dress. Price is $10 for Mids and Guests, an extra $5 to be paid at the bar if you want to drink that night. You can buy your tickets starting this upcoming Monday from MWF. -- March 26**
