The following is a recording
from PCSat made on December 12, 2001 at around 19:40 (UTC), orbit 1052.
Bob Bruninga, WB4APR, programmed the TNC in PCSat so it would transmit "S"
and "HI HI" in morse every three minutes. This to commemorate the 40th
anniversary of the first Amateur Satellite OSCAR-1 launched on 12 Dec 1961
and also to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Marconi's historic
transatlantic transmission of the letter "S" from Poldhu Cornwall to St
John's Newfoundland in 1901.
