HOW TO CONNECT TO THE LAB WITH SSH FROM UNIX/LINUX/CYGWIN

1. Execute the following command from your terminal:

ssh -Y mXXXXXX@hostname.cs.usna.edu

2. Enter your NADN password when prompted.

3. You are now remotely connected and can do anything you normally would be able to do when you are physically in the lab. To open gedit, execute gedit from the terminal and you will see its window appear.
