Subject: project 1: a tip and correction to extra credit


1. Make sure that you read the sample program given in the project
description (on very last page of handout, or at the end of the online
document).  This is *NOT* the same as the starter code that you are given,
but is very helpful for understanding how to structure a MIPS program that
involves calling a function.

2. I goofed on the turn-in requirements for extra credit #1 (the
non-recursive version) -- Pell(30) is so big that you wil get an arithmetic
overflow.  If you do this, turn in instead two things:
   - a screenshot of Pell(10)
   - a screenshot of Pell(N), where N is the biggest number that works for
     you without hitting overflow.
