Unless otherwise specified, assignments are due
promptly at the start of class on the due date.
Assignments will often involve both an electronic and a written
submission – both must be accomplished before the assignment is deemed
submitted.
Labs are normally due on Wednesday. However, because reading quizzes are often due Wednesday as well, labs will now have a “free late
Thursday” policy: you can turn in your lab late, with no penalty, up until the
beginning of class on Thursday. After
this, the original policy is in effect – so after class starts on
Thursday, your lab will be 25% off if accepted at all. The table below shows this result.
Note:
1.
Please turn in your lab on Wednesday if it is ready. If you turn it in via “free late Thursday,” it
may not be graded as quickly as the other students’ labs.
2.
Only labs due on Wednesday have a “free Thursday late” policy (there
may be different deadlines later in the semester).
3.
You may not work on your old lab in class on Thursday and then
turn it in “on-time.” Labs must be received at beginning of class on Thursday
or it is 25% late.

So this means that an
assignment due on Wednesday will not be accepted after 0755 Friday, even with
the “free Thursday late” policy.
Take-home
reading quizzes will not be accepted late.
