Subject: IT452 -- final exam info


The final exam is on Wed Dec 17 at 1330.  Location is currently MI200, but
that might change, so stay tuned.

Same rules as before:  closed book, open notes.

The exam is cumulative.  So review the following parts:

1. Everything leading up to 6 week exam:

2. Everything leading up to 12 week exam:

3. Everything since 12 week exam:
-Web servers.  Basic operation.  .htaccess files.
-Mashups:  why do?  Possible sources of data.  General operation.
-Content Management Systems.  Why use?  What does it provide?
-Search engines:  parts and basic operation.  What influences the ranking
and how to improve ranking of a page.  Black and white hat techniques.
-Flash.  Key pieces.  Where does it run?  How does it compare with JS?
-On-line Collaboration tools:  what can be done w/ no programming?

I will be in every day next week if you have questions.
