Greece returned to Monarchy
		• 1932-35 witnessed a succession of weak indecisive Greek governments. • In March 1935, supports of Venizelos staged a coup which was put down by General Kondilis and sent Venizelos into final exile. • Kondilis organized a plebisicite to restore the monarchy in November 1935. • The Constitution of 1911 was restored to replace the Constitution of 1927. • This marked the triumph of conservatism in an uncertain time.
