Tombs of the "10,000" at Dibba
Portion of the vast graveyard said to be where close to 10,000
people were buried, among them many of the early Muslim followers sent into battle
by the Caliph Abu Bakr in 633 CE. Nearby is the Bidya Mosque
in Khor Fakkan, near Fujaira, in the United Arab Emirates.
