Maple programs

Some maple packages I've written:
• chess in maple. This can also be downloaded from the Maplesoft Games page.
• (co-authored with J. McShea) Gray codes commands for MAPLE,
• some elementary group-theoretical commands for MAPLE (last updated 12-23-99),
• some elementary finite field commands for MAPLE,
• playing chess in maple (it does not play very well!),
• young tableau and the Littlewood-Richardson rule for the representation theory of the symmetric group S_n
• tic tac toe game (interactive)
• rook polynomials in MAPLE,
• (co-authored with Roland Martin and Micheal Fourte) crystal (decomposes tensor products of representations of Lie algebras using Kashiwara's crystal graphs and implements a branching rule). For the latest version, see the links in crystal2 or the share package in MAPLEV5.
• dynkin (Dynkin diagrams, weight diagrams, etc) or the share package in MAPLEV5.

• calendar (day of the week program)

• Knight tours on a 8x8 chess board
• linear algebra routines for polynomials in several variables
• cayley, a web page for Cayley algebras, octonians, and quaternions.
• codes, a page on Cyclic, Hamming, Reed-Muller, BCH, and Golay codes (last updated 12-23-99),
• Fourier, a page of MAPLE commands on computing Fourier series, cosine series, sine series on the interval (-L,L). There are also pages of MAPLE commands for other applications to differential equations and calculus: following the links on the teaching page.
