Title: Rings of Polynomial Functions

Abstract: Let R be a commutative ring with identity 1. Each polynomial f in R[X] determines a function from R to R which sends the element r of R to the element f(r). The set of all such functions form the ring P_R of polynomial functions on R. We investigate the structure of such rings, then find the cardinality of P_R when R = Z/(m) is the ring of integers modulo m.
