Welcome to the introductory course in buoyancy and stability of ships! It is not hard to grasp the importance of these two subjects in ship design! The amazing thing is how often something goes wrong with these concepts and a ship sinks or capsizes (see below!). In this course you will learn the concepts and procedures to make sure your vessels stay afloat and upright! During the course you will develop the hull lines of a vessel of your choice and will perform a thorough analysis of another design.
