During 1/C and 2/C, there are imbalances between the spring and fall semesters, both in terms of the number of courses (5 or 6) and the number of credits (15-21).  Many students might want to move a course from spring to fall 2/C year, although fall season athletes (football, sprint football, or volleyball) will probably prefer to keep this arrangement.  You should discuss with your advisor your situation and plans, and this matrix might best be adapted for you.
