Military
applications:
You will write a two page paper on the military application of some science topic. The paper will follow the department style manual (no need for an abstract), and will have at least 3 references, one of which will be a good journal (with reference list). None of the references will be to the web. This can be part of the topic for your proposed research project next year, or another topic; for those who cannot find anything, I can supply papers.
