SUMMARY / BACKGROUND

Professional military officer with over fifteen years Air Force experience beginning as enlisted aircraft mechanic spanning DESERT SHIELD/ DESERT STORM. Commissioned at Officer Training School in 2001 after break in service. Experience with contractors: C-17 SPO as Integrated Logistics Support Manager; MILSATCOM (TSAT) as architecture lead. Acquired experience with satellites and intelligence work in SCIFs at National Air and Space Intelligence Center, including handling of classified documents and information. Attained Top Secret clearance in 2001. Applied basic infrared data analysis skills and general application of science on DSP program. Developed leadership and management skills leading approx 40-member team consisting of officers, enlisted, civilians and contractors applying advanced Air Force satellite systems to intelligence and CSAR operations for the duration of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Expanded into Systems Engineering at AFIT. Finally, applied aggregate of satellite, contractor, leadership and management experience at MILSATCOM Systems Wing (TSAT) as Chief, Architecture Branch, as of June 2008.

PERSONAL

Came from family of 9 (4 brothers 2 sisters). Step-Father retired enlisted (AF), Father retired Navy Chief. Grew up on Air Force bases in Air Force housing. Married, two wonderful children boy and girl, also growing up on Air Force bases. Traditional household, single income, stay-home mom volunteers on base. Enjoy most sports, especially racquetball, lifting weights. Strive to balance work, family and spirituality. Strong sense of loyalty. forward-leaning, mission-focused, can-do.
