The Seas, Lakes & Bay: The Naval War of 1812 Exhibit is a once in a lifetime opportunity to view art, artifacts and ship models from two prestigious collections joined together for a limited time in celebration of the War of 1812 Bicentennial. The story of the War of 1812, War of 1812 Battles, the war’s causes and results, War of 1812 timeline and US Navy History are told through stunning pieces of artwork, maritime paintings and historical artifacts. The exhibit combines the private collection of Mr. William I. Koch with the collection of the US Naval Academy Museum. Featured in this gallery are just a few of the rare and inspiring pieces you’ll see at the exhibit.
